    Did he ever sign differently?
I have an engraving with his signature on lower right and another etched name in lower left of R.L. Johnston or R.L. Johanston.
It is of sheep being led down path. Shows the posterior aspect of sheep, one dog and man in sketch in left aspect of drawing.
Under signatures and outside engraving plate, a slightly whimsical sketch of dog is made.
Does this sound like something Henry Pruett Share would do?
    Thank you…appreciate your assistance.

    Hello,
I have two Henry Pruett Share etchings (top left very small they say “copyrighted by Max Jacoby 1887″
They have the etched signature as you have shown with ‘Invt-Aqft” etched right after the ‘signature’. Underneath the print is another mini-sketch of what looks like an animal trap and beside it his name is signed in written form….
Do you have any idea what these might be worth? any kind of idea on value? I would like to sell them.
    Thank you for your time,
    Stacey MacDonald

    Hello,
I have a H, Pruett Share etching of a J.G. Brown shoe shine boy in original matting and frame with wooden backing; etching signed by both, Brown (signed J G Brown NA) and Share, copyrighted by Brown in 1887. John George Brown oil paintings are quite valuable so wondering what the value of this etching may be.
    Thanks,
    Denice

I have an etching, doubled matted in a very old gold frame. It is “The Swing”, lower left hand corner printed: Painted by E. Klimsch, in the right hand corner printed: Etched by H, Pruett Share. In the lower right hand of the etching itself appears HP Shares and it looks like a #8. Is this of any real value? Where can I best get an idea of its value?
