He illustrated many magazines, including Judge, Ladies’ Home Journal and Collier’s. He was the creator of Kellogg’s Rice Krispies cereal characters Snap! Crackle! Pop!

My son has a letter received when a child by Vernon Grant. I am trying to find out if it is the Vernon Ethelbart Grant (cartoonist) or
Vernon Simeon Plemion Grant (illustrator). There is no date on the letter but it would have to be somewhere between 1975-1985.
It is printed “Vernon Grant” not signed so I was trying to find out if the signature on the letter matched above.

That is an interesting question. Perhaps the content of the letter would help, or a photo of the printed signature. Vernon’s signature is pretty distinctive, you might be able to make conclusion.
